The OPTI-PAN is designed for flat roofs to collect water that could come down into the roof. Sometimes there may be traces of moisture, even though the Optimum vent is designed to remedy this situation. When the climate is very humid, a few droplets of water can remain on the walls of the vent and descend to the roof. Placed on the mineral wool under the vent, the Optimum tray collects this water which evaporates normally afterwards. The OPTI-PAN is highly recommended and is the solution for a dry attic at all times.
