Ventilation Maximum Flat Roof Ventilator Model # 201-12-MB; Unlike a turbine or a goose neck vent, the model 201 -MB static ventilators are CSA approved, and do not require to rotate to prevent water or snow infiltrations. Its' unique deflector system prevents infiltrations while at the same time capturing the wind from all directions and at velocities as low as 4 miles/hr. With the combination of technology, wind and pressure differentials, a " chimney effect" results in drawing the moist stale air out the attic space. This model comes in two pieces, insulated flashing with flat flange, and ventilator. It is designed for the application of torched down or heated roofing membranes. No need of a wood curb, the base of this ventilator is the curb, so the membrane is installed onto the base as you would a wooden curb, followed by the ventilator which will go over both the membrane and base. Its recommended ventilation area is between 325 sq.ft. and 425 sq.ft. Built solid, it is made of galvanized steel with a built-in wire mesh screen, discouraging rodents from entering or chewing their way into the attic. Powder coated baked finish paint of the highest quality, with UV protection. Long term investement for peace of mind! Lifetime Limited Warranty
