Eaveguard is rolled, self-adhering asphalt waterproofing shingle underlayment specifically designed to provide secondary waterproofing protection to shingles as well as prevent ice damage. Composed of high-tack rubberized asphalt and glass fiber mat. Sand on the upper surface provides a slip-resistant working surface. The lower surface has a split-release silicone release backing for ease of application. Eaveguard is used as a self-adhered membrane designed to be adhered directly to roof decks prior to the application of shingles.
