Approved for residential, commercial, and industrial installations, it must be plugged into a 120V outlet fitted with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
The cable is fitted with a built-in bimetallic thermostat that activates the cable when the temperature falls below 4 °C (40 °F) and a grounded 3-pronged plug with an indicator light to show when the cable is powered on.
Once the cable has been installed and powered on, no further action is required throughout the winter season!
