Castle Building Centres Group is an industry leader among Buying Groups in the Lumber, Building Materials and hardware segment in Canada.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong relationship and communication skills that can manage and develop our future growth. Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice President of Supply Chain is responsible for leading all procurement activities throughout the Castle Building Centres Group organization with the mission of supporting the company’s business strategy by developing and managing a supply chain that enables a sustainable competitive advantage.
The individual welcomes the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of independent LBM, Commercial & Specialty dealers while planning and executing our future growth initiatives. Providing continual communication with our members while understanding their needs is fundamental to success.
This position must not only respond to current market dynamics but also anticipate future trends to maintain a competitive edge. These Procurement activities include direct material procurement, indirect material and services, trade compliance, sourcing & supplier management, analytics, and forecasting.

• A progressive, proactive approach that is eager to embrace technology and modern management principles.
• Experience and an understanding in dealing with manufacturers and distributors.
• Excellent organization and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an environment with large volumes of data.
